Polyethylene Terephthalate Glycol

PETG is the tougher, more durable cousin of PLA: prints easily with low fumes and no enclosure, but requires slower speeds, medium cooling, and a glue barrier on the bed to prevent over-adhesion,plus drying if you want clean, string-free results.

This filament is easy to print, weatherproof. Worth watching: it can be a little moisture-sensitive.

Things to watch

Picks up moisture over time, store it with desiccant
Prone to stringing, tune retraction and keep the filament dry
Oozes from the nozzle, expect some cleanup on multi-part prints
