Bambu Lab PET CF Black Summary
This filament is demanding to print. Worth watching: it can be a little moisture-sensitive.
Print characteristics
Shrinkage 0.2-0.7 %
Strengths
- Solid strength for everyday parts
- Stiff and rigid, resists flexing
Things to watch
- Picks up moisture over time, store it with desiccant
- Can be brittle, may crack under sharp impact
Drying
This material picks up moisture from the air over time. When it needs drying, run it at 65-75 °C for 4-6 h. Keep it in a heated dry box while printing for the cleanest results.

Specialties
Heat ResistantWithstands elevated temperatures (hot car, warm electronics) without deforming. Printable on standard printers. HDT ~80-120°C.
Water Resistant / HydrophobicResists absorbing water or moisture from the air. Maintains mechanical properties in humid or wet environments. For marine parts, outdoor components, or wet environment applications.
High StrengthResists bending or pulling apart under heavy load. Very stiff.
Chemical ResistantResists damage from oils, fuels, acids, industrial chemicals or solvents. For laboratory equipment, fuel system components, or chemical storage.
RecycledMade from recycled plastic waste or renewable sources. Lowers environmental impact. For eco-conscious projects.
Food SafeCertified safe for touching food. No toxic heavy metals or harmful additives. For kitchen tools, food containers, or utensils. Note: Layer lines can trap bacteria, so use with caution.
Low ShrinkagePart holds its exact shape over time. No warping, sagging, or unexpected size changes. Essential for precision parts, press-fits, and mechanisms under constant load.
Wear ResistantResists surface wear from friction and sliding. Good for gears, bushings, conveyor parts, or any component that rubs against other surfaces.
Low OdorEngineered to reduce harmful emissions and smells during printing. Safer for home or office use without industrial ventilation. Most common in ABS and ASA alternatives.
